MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- The tropical waters of the Atlantic basin remains remarkably void of significant weather features that would raise concerns for tropical cyclone development. Waves of moisture, especially in the southern latitudes of the North Atlantic, are fighting against existing dry air and faster upper-level winds that have persisted over the Caribbean. Because of these, a tropical depression should not develop anywhere in the Atlantic basin over the next three to five days.
