MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- Aside from Major Hurricane Matthew, which is covered in a separate article, a smaller, weaker disturbance a few hundred miles north of the Lesser Antilles has moderate chances to further develop into a tropical depression within the next few days, but all indications are for it to remain over the open Atlantic and remain a safe distance from any major land mass.
There are no other points of interest in the tropical Atlantic basin at this time.
