For a change, there are no significant areas of tropically disturbed weather in the Atlantic basin, and no current named storms.
Moisture in the northern Gulf of Mexico is associated with a stationary front, producing showers across the central and eastern Gulf Coast states. A wave of low pressure may form along the front, but the chances of tropical development are not at a level of major concern.
A couple of disorganized waves exist in the eastern Atlantic, and a broad frontal boundary is placed across the western Atlantic ... but neither or these are expected to gain tropical features.
