MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- Post-Tropical Cyclone Hermine is continuing to move at a fairly slow pace at 7 mph. Right now, the storm is sitting east of New Jersey and will close in on the coast before returning to a northeast path. Within Hermine, there are sustained winds close to 70 mph with stronger gusts, as well as quite a bit of rain. A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect along the coast from New York to Massachusetts. Coastal flooding is also a threat with a high risk of rip currents.

In the Eastern Caribbean, there is a disturbance near the Lesser Antilles that is expected to move towards the Yucatan Peninsula later this week. As of now, there is a 20% chance of formation within five days.
