MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the WTXL First Alert Weather Center ...

The latest cold front to approach our region is producing areas of rain across the Panhandle and Alabama, with stronger storms near the coast. As this band pushes slowly east, showers will become scattered in western counties later tonight and likely remain below severe levels locally.  It'll stay plenty mild overnight with cloudy times elsewhere and lows in the mid 60s to near 70°. Tuesday's highs will be between 70° and the lower 80s before the cold front arrives. It will produce spotty showers and a couple of thunderstorms, but organized severe storms are not expected. The upper wind pattern will favor more clouds and showers through midweek, which will begin to clear out Thursday morning. A chilly feel is forecast with more sunshine to close out the work week.
