MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the WTXL First Alert Weather Center ...

This evening will feature passing showers and a few thunderstorms with a generally cloudy sky and warm lows in the middle 70s. East winds will be noticeable but not incredibly strong.  This trend continues Tuesday with cloudiness and occasional showers. Highs will be in the mid and upper 80s. Deteriorating weather conditions are expected for marine and coastal zones Tuesday night, with worsening weather spreading inland Wednesday as Hurricane Michael approaches.  In general, times of heavy rain and tropical-storm-force wind gusts are likely. Some western areas may encounter occasional hurricane-force gusts, depending on landfall point and Michael's movement.  Residual effect of breeze and few strong storms may linger into Thursday before a clearer, slightly cooler trend for Friday.
