MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the WTXL First Alert Weather Center ...

A few showers or storms are possible near the Interstate 75 corridor for the early evening hours, mainly from the east coast seabreeze being pushed farther west into our area. No significant storms are expected, but some spots of heavy rain can happen. Clouds and showers will also persist in the Forgotten Coast through the evening before winding down later tonight. Patchy clouds are possible overnight with lows in the low to mid 70s. Isolated thunder in the western Big Bend waters can help trigger scattered action through Tuesday in the Apalachicola River area, with less rain coverage by afternoon elsewhere. Highs will still be warm in the low 90s, and daytime temps like those will remain in the picture through the weekend. However, rain chances will fluctuate between 50% Wednesday and 20% by the weekend as high pressure strengthens over the area.
