MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the WTXL First Alert Weather Center ...

Showers and thunderstorms are scattered across the seabreeze flow in northern Florida, moving northeast with spots of heavier rain. Isolated, briefly strong storms can occur, but should not be widespread this evening. Lows will fall into the low to mid 70s with breaking cloudiness. Showers and thunder will re-form by Tuesday afternoon as highs reach the lower 90s.  Tropical moisture will be shoved to the south over the next several days as the wind flow around Hurricane Florence forces drier air into the region. This will result in less rain development by the end of the week, and warmer daytime highs.  There are no indications of tropical storms or hurricane directly impacting our area through this week.
