MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the WTXL First Alert Weather Center ...

Ongoing cloudiness and moisture will be present through tonight and Tuesday, with periods of showers and rain connected to a broad low-pressure area in the eastern Gulf of Mexico.  Lows tonight will be around 70°, and highs Tuesday will be confined to the low to mid 80s with a general lack of sunshine.  Shower and rain coverage will be scattered to numerous, with occasional bouts of heavier rain and a few thunderstorms.  Rain totals will be higher near and east of I-75, with lighter rain totals closer to the Three Rivers region.  The swirl of low pressure will primarily cause broader rain chances. A strong storm is possible in only an isolated instance. Wind gusts won't be incredibly strong, but a few modest gusts in offshore waters are possible.  The humid pattern will stay locked in place all week, with more breaks of sun later in the week as afternoon scattered showers and thunderstorms become possible.
