TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- The cold front that passed over the region earlier this morning is continuing to push further away from us. As it does so, our rain chances will continue to drop, though the cloudy skies will take a little longer to break up.
Tonight will be cold with lows in the mid to upper 30s and a light north wind. This wind will help bring in dry air to the region and help break up the clouds. Expect to see mainly clear conditions near sunrise. Rain is not in the forecast overnight.
Tuesday will start chilly with highs reaching the mid 50s for most of us. Winds may be breezy at times, about 5 to 15 mph from the northwest. Ample sun will be on hand through the day.
Tuesday night will be even colder than what we'll feel tonight. Winds are expected to be calm with clear skies, which will help temperatures fall. Lows drop into the lower 30s. Because of this, a FREEZE WATCH has been issued beginning Wednesday at 12:00 am lasting until 8:00 am EST. Rain is not expected through the day on Tuesday.
