MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the WTXL First Alert Weather Center ...

Late-day showers and thunderstorms are most numerous in the eastern half of the region, around the Suwannee and Withlacoochee rivers and the I-75 corridor. These spots of rain will move west through the early evening. Some downpours and occasional lightning are possible, though severe weather concerns are minimal. Leftover moisture and patchy clouds will allow lows to fall to the mid and low 70s. Partial cloudiness is forecast for most of Tuesday with another scattering of afternoon and evening showers after highs near 90°. Significantly drier air will surge over the area from the east; morning temps will likely reach the mid and upper 60s for the last half of the week, but highs will still rise toward and beyond 90°.  It likely won't be a humid as it has been lately, and that also goes along with heavily reduced rain chances reaching into the weekend.
