MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the WTXL First Alert Weather Center ...

Southwest wind flow and a lack of stabilizing factors aloft have helped the afternoon thunderstorm cycle to resume, with locally heavy downpours and some gusty storm-related winds. Most of the activity will remain scattered, and likely to diminish by midnight. Forecast lows will reach the mid 70s with a clearer sky. Partly cloudy conditions are projected for Tuesday by midday, with more areas of rain and thunder forming in the afternoon. Highs will top out in the low 90s. Areas of showers and thunderstorms will vary Wednesday through Friday, with higher chances near the coast. A batch of dry air may reduce the rain threat for the weekend.
