TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Due to all the rain this past weekend some rivers around the region are in moderate stages of flooding.
The Ochlockonee River near Concord is expected to crest this morning at 41.8 feet and as the week continues water levels will begin to decrease. The flood stage for the river is 36 feet for minor flooding and 38 feet for moderate flooding.
St. Marks River near Newport on Old Magnolia Road is also in the moderate stage of flooding which begins at 9 feet. The river crested earlier this morning at 9.4 feet and water levels will continue to decrease throughout the day and week.
The Withlacoochee River near Quitman crested this morning at 108.59 feet. This also a moderate level of flooding with the flood stage being 102 feet.
