MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- No tropical development is forecast in the next few days, despite the presence of a rich moisture flow from the western Caribbean stretching north toward the Florida peninsula. A broad disturbance is depicted to drift to the northwest from this moisture plume into the western Atlantic later this week, but a well-defined low-pressure circulation has been difficult to detect in forecast data. Therefore, expectations of a better-organized system forming from this moisture source are quite low at this time.
