MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- There are no areas of immediate concern across the waters of the Atlantic basin.

Areas of vast moisture exist in the western Caribbean and the southernmost Gulf of Mexico, flowing northward into the eastern Gulf and nearby coastal zones.  A broad low-pressure system is forecast for form among this moisture field, moving north to northeast later this week.  Some long-range forecast data suggest further development of the disturbance into a tighter circulation in the western Atlantic late this week, but its exact form is highly uncertain.
