Tropical Depression 17 develops in Atlantic Ocean

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Tropical Depression Seventeen has formed in the Central Atlantic Ocean.

The National Hurricane Center says the system has max sustained winds around 35 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.

The tropical depression is forecasted to become a tropical storm on Tuesday. The next name on the 2020 Atlantic Tropical Cyclone list is Paulette.
