TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Another day, another heat advisory. All of our western counties are under a heat advisory until 7 pm for actual air temps in the mid to upper 90s with "feels-like" temps above 110°. Take precautions to stay cool by staying in the A/C and drinking plenty of water. A few scattered storms are likely to bubble up in the afternoon. But by then, temps will already be at their hottest. A very similar pattern persists through the weekend with temps in the mid to upper 90s with lows in the mid to upper 70s as a ridge of high pressure remains dominant though a frontal system will drift into the Deep South which will stir up conditions a bit and trigger more scattered storms, primarily in the afternoon and evening. By this weekend though, the high pressure system wins out and rain chances turn isolated in nature.
