TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Hurricane Cristobal continues to weaken and open up as it is picked up by the jet stream. Forecast track will keep it well away from the U.S. It will transition into an extra tropical system into the next couple of days. Elsewhere, a low pressure system continues to churn in the Carribbean south of Hispanola. It has a low chance of forming into a tropical system over the next week, but we'll keep an eye on this as hurricane season continues.
