The Atlantic Basin is moistly clear and does not have any tropical development expected in the next 48 hours. There are a few areas of tropical moisture in the Caribbean and even close to the United States. An area of low pressure and unsettled weather brought tropical moisture to South Florida. It is now moving westward and the northern portion of the unsettled weather is grazing the Big Bend region. This moisture will help fuel local thunderstorm development this afternoon. The wave of tropical moisture is not expected to develop any further and will just increase rain chances in areas that it passes over.
