The Atlantic Basin is clear of tropical development. The North Atlantic Ocean is influenced by high pressure, limiting any storm development.
An area of tropical moisture is moving over eastern Cuba. With that moisture, some shower activity is limited to the island. Some dry air off the coast of Africa will move westward, and will arrive in the Caribbean by Saturday to limit storm formation. No further tropical development is expected in the next 24-48 hours.
