TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - No new tropical formation is expected in the Atlantic over the next week or so, however we're still keeping our eyes on pesky Tropical Depression Bill that has been inundating the Central Plains and Mississippi River Valley with plenty of rain the last couple of days. Peak sustained winds have weakened to 20 mph and the pressure has risen to 1005 mb. As it continues to drift east, it could drop another few inches of rain as it follows the Ohio River eastward. Still, no local impacts are expected from this system despite its eastward trajectory.
Stay tuned this afternoon for another check on the tropics.
