MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) --There are two points of interest today: Kirk and Leslie. Neither of these storms are threats to the U.S.
Kirk: Still a tropical storm, Kirk continues to push westward, away from the Lesser Antilles. The cyclone will soon weaken due to strong upper level winds. Odds are that the storm dissipates by this weekend in the Caribbean.
Leslie: Post-tropical Cyclone Leslie continues to be a powerful non-tropical low pressure system. It is showing signs of gaining tropical characteristics and it has a 90% chance of becoming a subtropical storm again, or a tropical storm in the next five days.
