TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) -- A large but disorganized tropical wave near the Cape Verde Islands has a 60% chance of cyclonic formation over the next 5 days. Some gradual development is expected over the next few days and a tropical depression could from as this system continue to push towards the west-northwest by early next week.
A weak disturbance near the Leeward Islands has a 10% chance of cyclonic formation over the next 5 days. High pressure is dominating that region right now and there are no signs of surface circulation. This system will continue moving west at 15-20 mph with little development in the forecast.
