TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- It's going to be a hot and sunny Friday. Mostly sunny skies this morning will grow to partly cloudy conditions by the afternoon. The region will stay dry until around 1:00. By lunch time, scattered rain will be across the Big Bend and South Georgia with isolated thunderstorm areas. Eastern areas will get in on more rainfall today, but Western areas won't stay completely dry. Afternoon highs will reach 90 in most inland spots and upper 80s will be along the coast.Overnight lows will fall to the lower 70s.
Saturday features a similar pattern, with rain pushing into the area by noon. More widespread rain will occur due to a tropical system off the east coast of Florida that will help pull moisture into the area. Party cloudy conditions throughout most of the day with daytime high reaching the upper 80s.
At the start of next week, high pressure will build in and rain chances fall off through Friday. Afternoon highs will only climb to mid 80s.
