MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- More heat is expected to end the work week and 90 degree temperatures are looking more likely for the weekend ahead. The Summer-preview continues...
Friday: The ridge of high pressure that kept us mainly clear and warm this week continues today. More of the same pattern from previous days is expected with cool to mild morning lows generally ranging from the 50s to 60s. Mainly clear skies are expected. The afternoon is anticipated to be quite warm, with upper 80s to 90° temperatures in the forecast. Skies look to be mainly sunny to partly cloudy with no rain expected.
Friday Marine/Beach forecast information and your Friday Tide Times are below:
Saturday: High pressure stays in control. A cool to mild morning is forecast with lows generally near 60°. The afternoon looks to have plenty of heat with highs in the lower 90s. Partly cloudy skies are anticipated.
Sunday: Similar conditions for Sunday are expected, though rain chances are added, as well. Why? A cold front out west and an approaching trough of low pressure out east will add to extra moisture in the air. Expect lows generally in the lower 60s, highs nearing 90°, with isolated showers possible (20% coverage).
Monday through Wednesday: Monday through Wednesday look warm still, with rain possible for Monday and Tuesday. Expect lows in the lower to mid 60s, highs in the mid to upper 80s, with rain coverage at 20% for both Monday and Tuesday only. Wednesday does not look to have rain.
