MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- The weekend will continue the pattern of seasonably warm temperatures with daily opportunities of scattered rain. Some days will have more support for rain than others, but the general pattern doesn't dry up much until late next week.

Friday: Expect a partly cloudy set up in the morning with some areas of patchy, dense fog. Temperatures have started off in the 70s. A stray morning shower is possible, though rain is more likely in the early afternoon (50% coverage). Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected, with a few strong storms also possible. Highs look to reach the lower 90s in the afternoon.

Friday Marine and Beach forecast information and your Friday Tide Times are below:

This weekend: Plenty of Summer heat will be in store for the weekend with typical rain opportunities continuing as well. Expect morning lows in the lower to mid 70s with afternoon high temperatures in the lower 90s. Rain coverage will be around 40-50% for the weekend.

Monday and Tuesday: Similar conditions to the weekend are expected, with lows in the lower to mid 70s, highs in the lower 90s, and scattered showers and storms likely. Monday coverage looks to be around 60% with Tuesday a bit lower (40%).

Wednesday and Thursday: Some drier air may help to limit rain coverage further. This can support a hotter set-up by midweek. Expect lows in the lower to mid 70s, with highs in the mid 90s. Isolated rain is still possible, with coverage at 30% or less.
