MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- The leftovers of Tropical Depression Nine, which had made landfall in the Yucatan Peninsula, have entered the far western Caribbean Sea Friday. Despite its position over the warm waters there, chances for the system to re-intensify are rather limited because of the upper-air environment and increasing winds aloft that are forecast for the zone over the weekend.
There are no other organized features to track elsewhere in the Atlantic basin this weekend.
