MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- Through early next week, organized tropical disturbances are not expected to form throughout the Atlantic basin.
Long-range forecast trends remain ambiguous regarding the development of a low-pressure circulation in the western Caribbean, depicted to drift north into the Gulf. There is not a clear-cut case of this happening in most mainstream forecast guidance, so overall confidence remains low. However, it is fair to believe that some tropical moisture influence can return to the Gulf Coast states later next week. We wil continue to analyze future forecast trends to fine-tune this outlook.
