The disturbance in the open waters of the Atlantic Ocean between the Lesser Antilles and the Cape Verde region has gained some organization, but long-term intensification chances are not increasing, as upper-level winds near the system are expected to be faster, which will lead to perhaps some weakening.
Aside from spots of moisture in the far-southern Caribbean and the low-pressure system off the Jersey Shore, there are no other points of interest in the Atlantic basin.
