TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Tropical Depression Bonnie continues to drift eastward at 12 mph in the open Atlantic with winds of 35 mph. It will continue to weaken over the next couple of days as it moves north of Bermuda.
Meanwhile in the Bay of Campeche, a developing area of low pressure called, "Invest 93L" has a 60% chance of tropical formation as it moves northwest towards to Yucatan Peninsula. As it re-emerges in the Gulf, it may form into a tropical system. If it does prove to have tropical characteristics, it'll take the name "Colin."
