MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- A few waves of disturbed weather that have emerged from the western African coast have struggled to hold together, and the disturbance near the Cape Verde Islands of the eastern Atlantic no longer has meaningful chances for development over the next few days. Its remnants may have long-range potential for some modest formation over the central parts of the Atlantic Ocean, but there are no expectations for it to become a tropical depression through the weekend.
