MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- A batch of moisture in the far eastern Atlantic, some 4,000 miles from the Big Bend, has shown minimal development over the last 24 hours and will still exhibit slow development trends over the weekend as it battles a nearby dry air mass in the open Atlantic.
Waves of moisture located off the Florida east coast and north of Panama in the southernmost Caribbean are unlikely to strengthen into significant tropical systems in the near future.
