MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- A flare-up of clouds in the southwesternmost parts of the Caribbean has been generating rain and thunderstorms north of Panama. The cloudiness is connected to a stretched-out line of clouds, impacted by a swift upper-level wind pattern nearby. Further intensification of this disturbance is not likely, and it will not pose a risk to the local region.
No other systems are expected to develop in the Atlantic basin through early next week.
