The leftover circulation and moisture of Tropical Storm Dorian are hugging the southeast Florida coast, providing enhanced rain chances and a few wind gusts on the Atlantic coast. There is a minimal chance for the system to regain tropical depression strength before it gets whisked to the northeast and merges with a broader frontal system.
Elsewhere in the tropical Atlantic basin, there are no obvious signs of impending tropical depression or storm formation. Massive dry air over the open Atlantic waters should effectively subdue any efforts a few present disturbances may have to gain any significant organization.
