MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- The persistent low-pressure area that had lingered east of the Bahamas all week is now on the move to the north, ahead of a strong cold front that will likely absorb the low-pressure system and eliminate any chances of it developing into a tropical or subtropical system this weekend.
No other waves of moisture in the tropical Atlantic at this time bears any significant monitoring, as development chances through early next week are limited.
