The chances for weekend tropical developments is extremely limited. A considerable amount of dry air continues to linger over portions of the Atlantic basin, which is tamping down on the formation of tropical disturbances.
A few waves of moisture exist in the Caribbean, but they are disorganized in form and not anticipated to develop over the next couple of days. Swift upper-level winds over the northwest Caribbean will also inhibit future tropical depressions from developing over the weekend.
