MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- The nearby tropical waters remain unremarkable, and no threatening systems are forecast for the next several days.
A low-pressure system about a thousand miles east-northeast of the northern part of the Lesser Antilles still has a defined spin and ragged organization. The environment around it favors development into a subtropical depression or storm, which may eventually become fully tropical. However, all reliable projections keep this system over the ocean, and not a landfall threat.
