The tropics still remain quiet however there is an area of low pressure in the Gulf of Mexico that has been given a 10% chance of development.

This area of cloudiness and thunder storms in the Gulf is associated with and upper level low and a surface trough. It could possibly slowly develop before it moves inland over the northern Gulf coast on Saturday.

Chances are though it will remain disorganized.

Across the rest of the Atlantic Basin there aren't any other areas that the National Hurricane Center is investigating for potential development .
