MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- Tropical Storm Edouard continues its fading phase in the eastern sections of the north Atlantic, transitioning into a post-tropical cyclone this weekend east of the Azores.
A disturbance in the far eastern Atlantic, in the Cape Verde region, will encounter drier air as it moves deeper into the open waters. The chances for the system to strengthen into a tropical depression within the next five days are somewhat low at this point.
Between now and next Tuesday, there are no other points of interest that would develop into an organized tropical low within the Gulf, Caribbean, and Atlantic.
