MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- The wave of moisture in the southwestern Caribbean hasn't gained much organization, or moved significantly, over the last few days. While conditions remain somewhat favorable for development over the next five days, the upper-level wind flow has increased somewhat, delaying strengthening efforts. If these high-level winds decrease, some further organizing is possible. Expectations remain for the system to remain near stationary, or possibly shift around in a slow, erratic fashion.
There are no other points of concern as of late Friday afternoon in the tropical Atlantic basin.
