MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- A region of disturbed conditions in the far eastern Atlantic, more than 4,000 miles from the Big Bend, has emerged from western Africa with impressive amounts of moisture and organization. Because of its distance from the region, there will be no major concerns regardless of possible near-future organization attempts. There's still quite a bit of dry air in the open Atlantic waters, which would hinder its development in a few days. Current chances for significant organizing are rather low.
Most of the remainder of the tropical Atlantic basin is uneventful and no immediate concerns for development are present.
