MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the WTXL First Alert Weather Center ...

Clouds are slower to depart compared to the recent rain, but a drier trend will take firmer hold this evening through Saturday with further clearing expected overnight. A cool sensation will stick around tonight, with steady temps in the 60s eventually falling late tonight. Lows will drop into the 40s in most areas by sunrise. Bright sunshine is forecast for Saturday with highs rising toward 70°.  On Sunday, a wind shift will bring moisture and clouds back, with a late shower chance. Next week will feature waves of upper disturbances that will enhance cloud coverage and bring occasional rain and thunderstorms into the area. The strongest storms may stay north of the region, but we'll have several days of heightened rain chances next week.
