MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the WTXL First Alert Weather Center ...
Cold showers continue through the late-night period. The big question lately has been "will it snow here?"
For the majority of the region, the answer is a solid "no." Only a slim chance for mixed precipitation or brief flurries exists near the Chattahoochee River area bordering Georgia and Alabama, and in the Wiregrass region of southeast Alabama late tonight and early Saturday.
Local lows will range from the mid 30s in the tri-state to lower 40s near I-75. Clouds will break through the day, leading to a return of sunshine by the afternoon that will stretch for a few days.
Highs will remain colder than average, in the lower 50s. A light freeze is likely Sunday morning, and highs Sunday will struggle to climb through the 50s despite full sunshine.
Slight warming is forecast Monday and Tuesday afternoons with high recovering to the 60s.
