TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- A flood watch remains in effect through Tuesday morning for Suwanee, Hamilton, Dixie, Taylor and Lafayette counties in the Florida Big Bend.
3 to 8 inches of rain has already fallen across parts of Dixie, Taylor and Lafayette counties as of early this morning. This is priming that area and will be the biggest flood prone area through tonight. A few road closures have already been reported in Taylor County and additional similar impacts are possible through tomorrow with additional rainfall.
Through Tuesday morning, another 2 to 5 inches of rain is possible with isolated higher amounts. The flood watch may need to be expanded westward.
