TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Flood warnings remain in effect for area rivers through the rest of this week due to heavy storms that rolled through Christmas week.
The Flint River from Bainbridge to Newton is currently experiencing minor flooding, but as runoff water continues to find its way towards the river, it is expected to rise to the moderate flood stage.
The Apalachicola River is also experiencing moderate flooding from Chattahoochee through Bristol and down to Eastpoint.
