TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch which is in effect from this evening through Thursday morning. If you see a flooded road make sure to not drive through it, turn around don't drown and find a safer way to your destination.
Showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop later tonight and spread across the region tomorrow as the winds become more southerly. Another batch of heavy rain is expected for Wednesday as well.
The first set of storms on Tuesday could bring 2-4 inches of rain then an additional 2-3 inches with the second batch of storms on Wednesday. Total rainfall amounts could be between 4-7 inches over the next 2 days.
