TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Here's your forecast for the next four hours:
Good Thursday morning!
A cold front is finishing passing through the Big Bend and drier air is filtering into the region. We're going to be looking at lots of sunshine in today's forecast with winds from the northeast and high temperatures in the mid 90's.
Thankfully, drier air will help lower humidity just a tad for today and early tomorrow morning with dew points in the low to mid 60's. Winds from the east return Friday which will help some moisture return back into the atmosphere, leading to some scattered showers and storms further east for Friday.
The forecast approach of Hurricane Dorian in the Atlantic will further support east or northeast winds locally over the weekend.
