Rain chances today will sit around 50% with periods of sunshine, and heavy downpours with frequent thunder and lightning. An isolated severe storm is possible, but most activity should remain below that criteria.
Highs will warm up into the lower 90's this afternoon with heat index values approaching the triple digits. Winds will be from the southwest.
