TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Here's your forecast for the next four hours:

Good Thursday morning!

It's a mild but pleasant start to the day with just a few passing clouds this morning and temperatures in the 60's. We've got some sunshine on tap for the beginning of the day today with increasing clouds through the late morning and afternoon before eventual rain chances begin. Highs today will be in the lower 80's again. Late this afternoon through the evening we will see some scattered showers and storms begin to develop ahead of a cold front that will bring rain overnight.

A broken line of showers will move from west to east across southern Georgia and the Big Bend through the overnight and early Friday morning hours and we'll dry out and clear out through the second half of Friday as cooler air moves in. Highs tomorrow should stay in the 60's with morning lows in the 40's returning for the weekend. Tropical disturbances will not develop into depressions or storms through this time.
