TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Here's your forecast for the next four hours:
Good Wednesday morning!
It's a warm start to the day with temperatures in the upper 60's and lower 70's. Skies are mostly cloudy and will remain that way through the afternoon. We'll see some scattered showers and storms develop through the day with winds from the southeast. High temperatures should stay near the mid to upper 80's, with dry and sunnier spots creeping closer to 90. Abundant Gulf moisture will keep rain coverage on the higher side of the scale through the end of the week, as Tropical Storm Cristobal lurks in the southwestern Gulf. The system will contribute some of the moisture involved in high rain chances locally for the end of the week.
Tropical Storm Cristobal lurks in the far southwestern Gulf of Mexico. Confidence is still low in its future track and intensity at this point until a more well-defined system can develop. Until then, it's a good idea to get prepared for the coming months!
